THE EVAN SHAFFER MEMORIAL
Working with the community to help keep Evan's light shining bright!
At The Evan Shaffer Memorial, sucess is at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. Our fundraising and activities are put together to be a catalyst that helps community members reach their goals and fulfill their potential. All of our proceeds go towards 'The Evan Shaffer Memorial Scholarship' and we also contribute to the Beaverton Football Program.

WHO WE ARE
On December 19th, 2019, in a tragic car accident we lost Evan Shaffer.
He is the Son of Jon & Jodi (DeMoines) Richardson and the Late Todd Shaffer, also the beloved brother of Derek Shaffer and Sophia & Violet Richardson.
He was pursuing his dream to become an Electrician when he was taken from us much too early.
If you knew Evan, you loved him!
He had the most infectious smile, the best laugh and gave the greatest hugs!
He had found his passion for the trades while he was actively involved in the CTE program at Beaverton High School. He was a faithful believer that we needed more kids entering the trades!
Every fall, Evan could be found on the football field, representing his community and helping them achieve huge accomplishments! Because football and the trades were so important to him, we knew we had to keep his memory alive by helping other kids do what he loved!
All proceeds from the annual golf outing go towards The Evan Shaffer Memorial and the Beaverton Football program.
Giving back to the football program that mentored Evan from his childhood to the beginning of his adulthood only made sense! Every year we pledge to donate at least $500 to both the Beaverton Youth Football and the Beaverton High School Football programs.
